FG Funnels and WordPress: The Perfect Pairing

FG Funnels is an AMAZING tool for bringing all of your funnels together (you can read about my experience with Funnel Gorgeous Society Certification here.) However, if you have (or are considering) a WordPress website for your business, you might be wondering if–and how–you can use the two together and make the most of each one.

It’s actually a common myth and misunderstanding that if you go with FG Funnels, you can’t build your website on WordPress. If you’ve been holding back on one or the other because you thought the same thing, then I’ve got some excellent news for you: it’s not an either/or situation. In fact, when you combine these two platforms, you’re setting yourself up for some serious online success. Let’s talk about why combining FG Funnels and WordPress can be the secret sauce your online presence needs.

What is FG Funnels?

FG Funnels is an all-in-one marketing platform that can handle everything from building funnels to managing your email list. Here’s a list of some of the things you can do with FG Funnels:

  • Email campaigns
  • Landing pages
  • Sales Pages
  • Chat Widgets
  • Forms & Surveys
  • Checkout Pages
  • Lead management

The beauty of FG Funnels lies in its simplicity. Everything you need for your marketing campaigns is in one place, making it easy to create, launch, and manage your online offers. So, instead of building your email marketing in ConvertKit, digital product sales and courses in ThriveCart, and forms with Typeform, you can just build everything in FG Funnels. Having one integrated funnel software to streamline the process of nurturing potential clients can be a huge relief if you’ve been struggling to make what can feel like a bazillion tech layers and zaps to work together.

Of course, because it’s “all-in-one,” you also have the option to build a website in FG Funnels as well. However, if organic visibility and blogging are two of your top priorities for marketing and lead generation, then this is not your best option (that’s better left to WordPress.)

The power of WordPress

Now, let’s talk about WordPress. It’s the world’s most popular and flexible content management system, which makes it perfect for creating customized, high-performing sites (and I’ve tried pretty much every other website creation platform on the market.)

WordPress is basically infinitely customizable–you can build pretty much any kind of site you want to in WordPress and choose from thousands of third-party apps and plugins to get the functionality you want.

It’s also more easily optimized for search engines, which gives you a leg up in the SEO game.

Why use both FG Funnels and WordPress?

So, if each platform is good enough on its own, why would you worry about using them both?

Great question! Here’s why combining FG Funnels and WordPress can supercharge your online presence:

    1. You get the best of both worlds. WordPress’s content management and SEO capabilities, plus FG Funnels’ marketing automation features.
    2. It allows you to keep your business in strategic silos. If one platform has issues, your entire online presence isn’t affected.

You can leverage each platform’s strengths for different aspects of your business.

For example, you might use WordPress for your main website and blog, making it easier to grow organic traffic and build your email list. Then, you could use FG Funnels to create a high-performing sales funnel for your Black Friday promotion, complete with automated emails, a sales page, and checkout software.

The best way to use FG Funnels and WordPress

Let’s talk a little bit more about that Black Friday example I just gave you. That’s one super-easy way to build an entire sales funnel in FG Funnels. And if you’re running a short-lived or ad-driven promo that won’t depend on SEO for traffic (like Black Friday), that’s a solid plan.

But when building longer-life sales pages–like you would do for your evergreen products, courses, and offerings–I prefer to build the sales page on WordPress so it’s searchable and integrated into your main website. Then, I’ll embed the FG forms into the website for one seamless sales process.

Integrating FG Funnels on WordPress

Now, let’s talk about how to use these platforms together for maximum impact. Here are some of my favorite ways to integrate FG Funnels on WordPress:

  1. Chat widget integration: Add FG Funnels’ chat widget to your WordPress site for real-time customer support.
  2. Forms and surveys: Embed FG Funnels forms and surveys on your WordPress pages to capture leads right where they are.
  3. SEO-friendly sales pages: Build your initial sales page on WordPress for SEO benefits, then use FG Funnels for the checkout process and follow-up sequences.
  4. Marketing campaigns: Use FG Funnels for specific marketing campaigns and funnels while keeping your main content on WordPress.

By using both platforms strategically, you’re creating a powerhouse online presence that’s visible, conversion-focused, and optimized for search.

Now you know: You can use FG Funnels and WordPress together!

There you have it, folks! You don’t have to choose between FG Funnels and WordPress. By combining these powerful platforms, you’re setting yourself up for online success. You get the SEO benefits and content management of WordPress, plus the marketing automation and funnel-building power of FG Funnels. It’s truly the best of both worlds!
